What
is the Centre of Excellence for Early Childhood
The CEECD is one of Health Canada's five Centres of Excellence for Children's Health and Well-Being. It has been established to collect, analyze and disseminate information regarding the social and emotional aspects of early child development. The CEECD synthesizes knowledge, resources and expertise on early childhood development to support the health and well-being of Canadian families with children to the age of five.

What is CICH's role in CEECD?
The Canadian Institute of Child Health (CICH) is a partner in the CEECD, together with the University of Montreal and the Canadian Child Care Federation (CCCF). CICH is a member of CEECD's Advisory and Directing Councils and coordinates the work of its Research Development Committee.
